From an early age, Maria has loved acting and poetry for the power it holds to convey humans’ inherent goodness, and for how it can connect us to the greater world we are all part of.
Born and raised in Sweden, she grew up in a neighborhood with friends from many different cultures and also in closeness with Nature. Before beginning her formal education in the arts, she worked as a nurse in a busy ICU where she gained a deeper understanding of the human experience.
She trained in theater and acting in Stockholm as well as in Los Angeles at the Stella Adler Conservatory, and acts for both the screen and stage.
Maria remains dedicated to spreading love, light, and connection through storytelling. Currently, she is working on her poetry manuscript, "Stars Full of Sky," and the feature length screenplay, "Disconnected."
